"The unit was deemed unrepairable due to a broken cap tube in the foam area of the unit. All the seals were checked using pressure and bubbles, I noticed sound coming from the foamed section. Tech line was contacted and is replacing the unit. (7739739206). Photos of the bubbles are attached. I could not see the leak but after I was done with tech line, and was cleaning up I moved the cap tube and the whole piece fell off. The unit was put back in place and the customer was informed they would be contacted by whirlpool."

The unit was tested and found to have a bad igniter. The customer had an igniter from a previous service call. The part was replaced and the unit it was tested. The unit is working and the customer is going to monitor.

Job complete and the unit is now working.
