Clint
Dear Scott,
We apologize for the frustration, but there seems to be a misunderstanding regarding how appliance repairs are performed.
We service more than 60 appliance brands and tens of thousands of individual models. It is not possible for technicians to carry every possible part on their trucks. For that reason, parts are typically ordered after diagnosis or, if a customer already knows the required part, they may choose to prepay for the part so it can be ordered and available for the technician's visit.
If your expectation was for the technician to arrive with a specific part already in hand, that would have required the part to be identified and purchased in advance. Without that process, there is no practical way for us to stock every potential component for every appliance we service.
We understand that needing additional visits can be frustrating, but this is the standard repair process throughout the appliance service industry.
Sincerely,
The D3/A-OK Appliance Team
