Two prominent individuals in Colorado Springs, Harold Kunau and Gene Wood, officially launched their new venture, the A-1 Appliance Service, located at 111 E. Costilla St. This dynamic duo, previously associated with Strang's Appliance Store, has embarked on a joint partnership to provide comprehensive repair and servicing solutions for a wide range of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and electric ranges, among others.
Harold Kunau, a proud native of Colorado Springs, graduated from Colorado Springs High School in the class of 1957. Meanwhile, Wood brings valuable experience as a former shop foreman at Strang's, having relocated from Oklahoma to Colorado Springs. The entrepreneurial duo has actively pursued further education, attending the esteemed General Motors School in Denver, as well as completing specialized courses at both Pueblo Junior College and Denver Opportunity School. Equipped with state-of-the-art repair equipment, they are well-prepared to handle diverse appliance repair tasks.
They demonstrate a commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in refrigeration technology, constantly engaging in manufacturer-led training programs. Their dedication to excellence and ongoing learning ensures that customers receive top-notch service at A-1 Appliance Service.
