Customers complaint unit is making a noise periodically. I arrived and took the top off. And I could hear a relay. Click as the noise starts and then the relay clicks again and the noise stops. So it is definitely a component being turned on. It turns on stays on for a few minutes and then turns off. And can be off for. A while most likely it is the pump for draining the water.I inform the customer that's most likely what it is and what the price is.They said they're just gonna live with it for now

I tried testing the inlet valve connector to the board and got 105V. 120V at outlet and at junction box. Signed disclaimer. Test in service test F8E4 code cleared code.Removed catch pan had some wtr in it. Cleaned out test ran unit could not get unit to leak nothing evident. Checked wtr valve supply line made sure it is good and tight. ok. Put back together while running still no leaks. Put a leak board under unit and took a pic. Please fill out tech satisfaction survey.
