"SR7739929028. Unit is getting replaced per the safety team due to the injury. SR7739986887 Tech line - it was verified with Techline that both the high limit thermostat and the heater were shorted to ground, allowing the unit to runaway heat. This burned the heating element which causes smoking.. tech lines recommendation was to replace the parts. However, the Safety Team made the call to replace the unit. Both SR numbers are attached to this. The customer was advised theyd be contacted about replacing the unit. The plug was removed from the unit, and the customer was advised not to use the unit until the new one shows up ."
