CXs Complaint is a burning smell coming from exterior of dishwasher. Traced all wiring and didnt find anything burnt. Checked OHMS on all components and everything tested within specification. Double checked circutboard for for any burns and didnt find anything. CX also had a complaint about dishwasher not draining properly at end of normal cycle only. Told CX because drain pump functions correctly we would need to replace the PCB. Gave CX a round about cost of PCB and they are considering buying a new unit.

Turned unit on. did not lock. checked wire harness to door lock. loose made sure it was snapped in properly.Door locked. Tennant is using way too much soap. Lots of foam in basket. Checked dispencer. Found evap cover completely frozen. Put into diagnostics. Defrost test not heating. Removed some ice found 1 wire to heat circuit not plugged in.Put back in connector and made sure it is snapped in place right. Started heating. Thawed out evaporator it was frozen over completely. Defrost thermistor is in the proper place. starting to cool and circulate air into F.F. area. Op's Good. Please fill out whirlpool tech satisfaction survey. Thank You.
